First and second class have been enjoying science week. The boys conducted an experiment to investigate the reaction of vinegar and baking soda which produced some fizzing results!! Mathematical skills used :measuring weight and capacity,communicating and expressing,understanding and recalling .
The boys also designed and made their own musical instruments.Various 3D shapes and household recyclables were used including boxes,strings,pasta,rice,elastic bands and even an egg shell. I was both extremely impressed and proud of the work and effort the boys put into their creations. Mathematical skills used:Applying and problem solving,reasoning,communicating and expressing,implementing,integrating and connecting as well as 3 D shapes.Well done boys.
