Our Walk to The Lough

On Friday, the boys in First Class walked to The Lough. As we set off on our journey, we estimated how many steps it would take us to get there. We had some great guesses and would you believe one boy actually guessed the steps correctly, 6000 steps. As we walked around The Lough, we talked about all the different types of birds and trees we could see. We saw swans, coots, pigeons and even a black swan. The crib in the middle of The Lough was a huge highlight for the boys. As always their behaviour was outstanding and they were a credit to both their teacher and their school. Well done boys. We look forward to our next adventure!
