We would like to thank everyone for their participation in anti-bullying week! The boys have been busy learning about bullying and what to do if they feel they or a friend is being bullied.
During the week the boys took part in anti-bullying lessons, created artwork around the theme of kindness & inclusivity, read a variety of books that discuss bullying and more!
Our message this year was that kindness spreads and focused on how we can be caring to one another & respect differences. Each student was given a jigsaw piece to decorate with their ‘word of kindness’ and a whole school display was created outside Mr Kelly’s office!
To end anti-bullying week we would like to share some words of wisdom from Ralph Waldo Emerson: ‘The only way to have a friend is to be one!’
