The boys in Ms O’Dwyer’s Junior Infant class have been settling into school really well and have been working very hard.

Today the boys wore their blue to support the Barrs in the upcoming county finals! It is very exciting for the boys to see their local heroes play and hopefully they will be playing in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in the future too!

The boys have been developing their fine motor skills and learning the first 5 sounds in Jolly Phonics during Literacy Stations. They have also been learning lots of rhymes and are enjoying listening to stories.
Tá na buachaillí ag obair go dian ag foghlaim Gaeilge agus tá cúpla rainn déanta acu. Is aoibhinn leis na buachaillí go léir Gaeilge agus tá a lán focail nua acu!
We have been sorting in Maths and the boys are working hard to sort objects into different sets. The boys can match sets that are the same and identify why a set is different to another.

We have been learning a lot about Autumn in SESE and today we went on a nature walk. The boys collected lots of lovely leaves as well as some conkers.

The boys have been working so hard over the last few weeks and have completed some lovely paintings as well as getting a chance to play and getting to know their new classmates. Take a look at some of our pictures from the last few weeks!
