On Wednesday, October 12th, we got a bus to Páirc Uí Chaoimh. We were playing a fun blitz with other schools. First of all, we separated into three teams. Everyone, including Mr Murphy, Mr Bergin and Áine, began with warm-ups and stretches. Then the action started. Each team played three matches and every boy enjoyed it. Afterwards we had our lunch on the Astro turf pitches. As we waited for the bus to collect us, we took lots of photos to remember the trip. We were there for over two hours and it was great for a change. When the bus arrived we arranged ourselves into pairs and before long, we were on our way back to school. The journey back was a lot of fun. The whole day was really enjoyable and we’re looking forward to our next trip already. By Peter Blackwell and Mason Gabriel; 4th class.
