Sixth class took part in the Energise Programme in conjunction with Junior Achievement. This programme was delivered by our volunteer Conor Power in partnership with Gas Networks Ireland. It encouraged us to continue studying science in the future and introduced us to career opportunities available to us going forward.
We explored the world of science, health and well-being, forensics, energy, safety and light in a fun and exciting way. We thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and a big Thank You to Conor for coming to teach us over the past month.
Many of us are now interested in careers in Engineering and Science after exposure to the areas. This programme tied in with our recent visit to MTU where we attended a science show.
