A huge congratulations to the school football team who have qualified for the Sciath na Scol football final after a great victory over St Marks, The Glen. They will play Scoil Íosagáin, Faranree in the final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh after the midterm.
The boys are a credit to the school and have worked so hard all year in the classroom and sports field. There has been a huge influx of players joining St Finbarrs GAA club in recent years and the school has made major strides in Gaelic games. This achievement follows last year’s hurling success. It is great to see GAA flourishing throughout the school as students of all ages participate in Barrs coaching sessions, blitzes, Lough Leagues and Sciath na Scol
