The boys in Ms. McGloin’s 3rd Class celebrated World Book Day by hosting a book tasting in our classroom. This year, we were delighted to invite Ms. Curran’s First Class to join us for the experience.
The boys set up the room like a restaurant and paired up with their younger buddies. Acting as “servers,” they presented a menu of books and shared short samples for the boys to listen to and enjoy. Each pair chatted about the stories and helped their buddy find a book they liked.
There was a lovely buzz in the room as everyone explored new books together. It was a great way to celebrate reading and share our love of books with others this world book day.

3rd Class we’re also delighted to receive their final book from the school this year. They are all eager readers and look forward to their turn reading in our reading corner every day. Check out some of the great titles the boys chose!
