Third class had a great visit to Presentation Secondary School yesterday for a programme called ‘Science Buddies’ in conjunction with MTU. As the weather was good we took advantage of our close proximity and we walked there and back. It was a beautiful walk that we thoroughly enjoyed. Upon reaching Presentation Secondary School we were greeted by the very welcoming staff and shown to their science labs. We were divided into groups of three and spent the next hour rotating between five different groups showing different experiments. We were examining our finger prints, making volcanoes, lava lamps, checking ph levels and making colour changes in liquids with red cabbage water. We had a great time there and got to bring home our lava lamps to show our families. Thanks to Presentation Secondary School and MTU Science for Life programme!
