Today, the boys in fifth class took part in an online water safety webinar organised by Water Safety Ireland. Together, with over 900 participants, we learned about where to swim, what to do when we experience distress in water, water regulations on the beach (lifeguards and flags), correct clothing for sea swimming, rip currents and much more! It was an excellent learning experience and very relevant as we approach the summer months.
