Third and Fourth Class Adventure to the Beach!

Today, Third and Fourth Class went on a wonderful adventure to Fountainstown and Myrtleville beaches. We began our day by observing the wonderful wildlife and landscape at Fountainstown. The boys were delighted to find some crabs, large stacks of seaweed and beautiful seashells as they explored the beach and shoreline.

There was plenty of fun to be had too! Some of the boys had rock-skimming competitions, while others got busy making sandcastles and digging holes in the sand. It was fantastic to see the boys exploring their surroundings, enjoying the fresh sea air and making the most of their time at the beach.

After a well-deserved lunch break, we jumped back onto the bus and headed for Myrtleville. Here, the boys got some free time to explore the beach and rock pools. Once again, there was great excitement as they investigated what they could find along the shoreline. It was fabulous to see the boys digging in the sand, playing tag, kicking soccer balls around and truly enjoying themselves with their friends.

As our day at the seaside came to an end, we hit the road and made our way back to school on the bus. The boys were delighted with their fabulous trip to the beaches and returned to school with plenty of stories to tell!

It was a brilliant day of exploration, fun and learning outdoors, and one that Third and Fourth Class will hopefully remember for a long time.
