All boys from 3rd and 4th class made a trip to Fountainstown and Myrtleville beaches this week. The trip was organised as part of the school’s ongoing iniative to develop wellbeing amongst all children. Every class group has been encouraged to get out for a school trip during the first term, and our trip to the beach turned out to be a huge success.
The children in 3rd and 4th have been learning a bit about marine life in September so this trip gave a good opportunity to build on their learning, while also allowing them to explore outdoors and have some fun. The boys really enjoyed the day and made memories to last beyond their school years.
