On Tuesday, Third Class made the short trip to the Barrs for their first football blitz of the year! There was great enthusiasm and excitement among the boys as we made our way over to the pitch.
The blitz was organised between Togher Boys NS and Glasheen Boys NS. With four matches taking place at the same time, every boy in Third Class had the opportunity to get involved, represent their school and enjoy playing our national sport.
There was fantastic talent, teamwork and skill on display throughout the blitz. The boys showed great determination, sportsmanship and encouragement towards one another, and it was wonderful to see everyone participating and enjoying themselves. There were plenty of great scores, impressive passes and exciting moments across all four pitches!
After a busy morning of football, we returned to school happy, tired and delighted with our efforts. It was a fantastic day of fun, exercise and teamwork, and a great way to begin our football activities for the year.
Well done to all the boys who took part! We are already looking forward to our next blitz!
